Libby Showcase is our user-friendly, interactive discovery kiosk software designed to promote your digital collection in your physical space. Set up Libby Showcase in high-traffic areas to highlight titles from your library’s collection and encourage users to explore your content.

Libby Showcase works on devices ranging from tablets to large screen displays.

How does Libby Showcase work?


Users can interact with Libby Showcase to browse, search, and sample titles. When they find something they like, they can easily get links via text message*, email, or QR code to download Libby and borrow the title.

*SMS text messaging availability for Libby Showcase varies by geographic region. Please contact your Account Manager with any questions.

Libby Showcase can be customized to fit the needs and interests of your users. You can set up Libby Showcase instances throughout your library or community to promote the different formats, subjects, and languages your collection offers.

  • Display Libby Showcase on touchscreen devices, ranging from iOS and Android tablets to larger screens. Or use the optional non-interactive mode to promote your digital collection on any monitor.
  • Set up multiple instances of Libby Showcase (by library building, location in your library or community, etc.)—all for free. Note that OverDrive provides the software for Libby Showcase, but your library is responsible for providing the hardware.
  • Customize individual displays using admin tools in Libby Showcase. For example, set up an instance of Libby Showcase in the youth area of your library that highlights books for kids and teens, or a magazine Showcase in the periodicals section
